Merapi Disaster

         The first eruption occurred at around 17:02 pm on 26 October. At least going up to three times the eruption. Material spewing volcanic eruptions as high as approximately 1.5 km and is accompanied by the release of heat clouds which swept Kaliadem, Kepuharjo Village, District Cangkringan, Sleman. Since then began to vomit hot clouds occur irregularly. Starting October 28, Mount Merapi spewed lava that appeared almost simultaneously with the discharge of hot clouds at 19:54 pm. Trim the death toll reached nearly 200 people, mostly caused by hot clouds or wedhus gembel, include Mbah Marijan.
          Secondary disaster of Mount Merapi is cold lava which at times threaten the residents around the river that tipped the Merapi slope  one of the most severe is the white river in Magelang.
          Merapi eruption resulted in thousands of people displaced, many livestock die and hundreds of homes destroyed by hot clouds.

Earthquake

 

          An earthquake is a vibration or shock that occurs on the surface of the earth. Earthquake are usually caused by movement of the earth's crust (tectonic plates). A large earthquake can make the earth Tsunami. Earthquake measured by using a tool called the Richter Scaler.

         Most earthquakes result from the release of energy generated by the pressure exerted by a moving plate. The longer the pressure was becoming enlarged and eventually reach the state where the pressure can not be arrested again by the edge of plate. That's when an earthquake will occur. Several other earthquakes can also occur due to the movement of magma inside the volcano. Such an earthquake could be symptoms of impending volcanic eruptions.

         There are several types of earthquakes, including:
1.Volcanic earthquakes: This earthquake occurred as a result of magmatic activity, which usually occurs before the volcano erupted.
2.Tectonic earthquake: An earthquake is caused by tectonic activity, namely a shift in plate tectonic plates suddenly having the power of the very small to very large. This earthquake generated a lot of damage or natural disasters on earth, a strong earthquake vibrations can spread throughout the earth

           And the effects of earthquakes include. Many people who lost their homes, their families and possessions and many people who died and were injured. Earthquake psychological trauma can lead to considerable depth.
